Glia, which sells AI software to community and regional banks and credit unions, launched Glia Prospect Snapshot on 2 November 2026, a tool that builds a business banking prospect profile from a company name and address, according to Glia. Fintechbits’ archive shows Glia’s previous launch, on 6 August 2026, was three AI response modes that let banks control how its assistant answers existing customers (Fintechbits).

What Glia Prospect Snapshot Does

The tool pulls UCC filings, Secretary of State records, court records, watchlists, secured-debt data and enriched contacts into one profile, then uses Glia’s banking-trained AI to suggest likely financing needs, risk indicators and a recommended action, with the evidence shown. Glia Prospect Snapshot is generally available inside the existing platform, so banks do not need a separate system.

Justin DiPietro, Glia’s co-founder and chief strategy officer, said business banking teams “need to know which opportunities are worth their time and what to do next.” Jeffrey Butts, market president at Starion Bank, said the tool gives his team “structured, actionable intelligence in minutes instead of hours.”

Glia describes the launch as an expansion of its platform into commercial and business banking, putting its AI at a point before a business becomes a customer.

From Service Desk to Sales Desk

Glia’s platform has centred on serving banks’ existing account holders, with AI agents working across voice and digital channels. The August launch Fintechbits covered was about control, letting banks choose between approved answers, rephrased approved content or real-time answers from material they designate. Glia Prospect Snapshot goes the other way, toward revenue, by helping relationship managers decide whom to call.

Why Glia Prospect Snapshot Raises a Fair Lending Question

The pitch fits a real gap. Small banks compete for business deposits and loans against national banks with large data teams, and a tool that turns public records into a call list in seconds narrows that gap cheaply. Fintechbits’ State of Fintech Q3 2026 tracks how vendors are racing to own more of the bank technology stack, and Glia is extending from service into origination.

The open questions are accuracy and fairness. A model that ranks prospects and flags risk shapes who gets offered credit, so it deserves the same scrutiny as one that scores borrowers. Banks using it will need to show examiners how the recommendations are made.
