Where the coverage comes from
Fintechbits covers fintech globally, with particular attention to the largest markets: the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe. It also reports from the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
How Fintechbits reports
Stories start from the primary document: the company's own announcement, a regulatory filing or a regulator's notice. Important claims are checked against that document, and figures are taken from it rather than from other coverage. Articles keep what was announced apart from what it means: the reporting states the facts and links to their source, and the section labelled Fintechbits analysis says what the news changes. Where an announcement leaves out what a reader would need, such as a valuation or a launch date, the article says so instead of estimating it.
The editorial policy, the methodology and the corrections policy set out how this works.
