SoFi also gave its first 2027 forecast.
SoFi Q3 2026 in numbers
In the SoFi Q3 2026 report, GAAP total net revenue was $1.385 billion, up 44%, and net income rose 73% to $241.0 million, or $0.18 per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA rose 70% to $469.8 million, a 34% margin. SoFi says it has met the Rule of 40 for 20 consecutive quarters, with a score of 79 in the third quarter.
SoFi added a record 1.2 million members in the quarter and a record 2.2 million products, taking products to 26.7 million, up 44%. Products per member rose to about 1.56 from 1.47 a year earlier, and 51% of new products were opened by existing members.
“Our focus is simple. We are adding more members, who are using more products, and generating more revenue per product to create the most value for our shareholders over the long run,” said Anthony Noto, CEO of SoFi, in the release.
Where the SoFi Q3 2026 revenue came from
Lending is still the engine. Total loan originations reached a record $16.9 billion, including about $3.8 billion through the Loan Platform Business, where SoFi originates loans for third parties. Lending adjusted net revenue was about $807.4 million, and SoFi says credit performance stayed in line with expectations.
Financial Services revenue rose 25% to about $525.1 million, on 23.2 million products. SoFi Money and Relay each passed 8 million products, Invest passed 4 million, and Credit Card grew 67% to about 656,000 products. Fee-based revenue was about $570.6 million, or 42% of the total.

Why the SoFi Q3 2026 raise matters more than the beat
The size of the SoFi Q3 2026 revenue raise is what stands out. SoFi moved its full-year revenue forecast above the top of its own July range by $190 million with one quarter left, while lifting the profit line much less, from about $825 million in July to $840.0 million. Revenue is running ahead of plan faster than profit, which fits a company spending to add members and products.
The open question is the mix. More than half of adjusted revenue still comes from lending, and record originations of $16.9 billion mean SoFi is leaning on credit at a point where consumer credit could turn. The Loan Platform Business helps, because SoFi earns fees without holding all the loans, but it depends on buyers staying keen on personal loans.
The deposit and product side is where SoFi wants the 2027 story to sit, from a tokenized deposit paying 4.40% to the spending data in its debit spend index. Financial Services revenue growth of 25% is solid but well behind the 44% growth in total adjusted net revenue, so the diversification case still needs proving.

After SoFi Q3 2026, the fourth quarter has to deliver roughly $1.38 billion of adjusted net revenue for SoFi to hit $5.04 billion, based on the $3.66 billion it reported for the first nine months. Credit will be the more useful signal: SoFi’s personal loan losses and Loan Platform Business volumes will show whether the record originations hold up if consumer credit weakens in 2027.
