C2FO, the working capital platform, said on 27 October 2026 that the financing and settlement behind its new C2FO Instant Pay product will run on the XRP Ledger, with suppliers paid in Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, according to Ripple’s announcement. Fintechbits checked C2FO’s own Instant Pay page, which offers a waitlist, says the service will only be available in the US at launch and promises funds in minutes, against the seconds quoted in the release.
How C2FO Instant Pay fits with Ripple and BNY
C2FO says its Early Pay programmes have helped businesses access more than 250 billion in working capital by paying approved invoices early. The gap C2FO Instant Pay targets is the few days that money can still spend in bank settlement after an invoice is paid early. Capital providers fund the instant payment, which then settles on the XRP Ledger in RLUSD, while invoice terms stay as agreed.
Ripple says RLUSD has more than $2.5 billion in market capitalisation, with more than $1 billion issued on the XRP Ledger. In a separate announcement, Ripple and BNY said BNY now supports XRP and RLUSD on its Digital Asset Custody platform and that the two are exploring a supply chain finance initiative with C2FO. BNY also intends to let its clients mint and redeem RLUSD directly through BNY.
Markus Infanger, SVP of RippleX at Ripple, said the XRP Ledger “is well suited to this use case because it can represent and move financial assets with fast, deterministic settlement and low transaction costs”. The release does not say which capital providers fund the instant payments, what they charge on top of the usual early-payment discount, or when the waitlist opens. A supplier will weigh those numbers against a same-day ACH payment before signing up for C2FO Instant Pay. The deal adds to a run of Ripple distribution deals, including DriveWealth and Ripple Prime’s real-world asset products.
