MVB Financial, the West Virginia holding company for MVB Bank, reported third-quarter 2026 net income of $0.4 million, or $0.03 a share, after a $9.9 million provision for credit losses, while fintech payments deposits rose 55.4% from a year earlier to $766.0 million, according to its MVB Financial results on 29 October 2026. MVB has been signing partners steadily: Fintechbits covered its DingoBlu partnership on 29 September 2026. It onboarded four new fintech partners in the quarter, bringing its 2026 total to nine.

Growth on one line, credit on the other

Net interest income rose 1.0% to $32.6 million, and payment card and service charge income was $5.2 million, up 39.6% from a year earlier. Total cost of funds fell to 2.07%. Without the provision, the quarter would have shown a growing deposit franchise. Fintechbits explains how this model works in what is banking as a service.
