Evertec, the San Juan payments processor that runs the ATH network in Puerto Rico, reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $283.0 million on 3 November 2026, up 24%, with adjusted EPS of $1.07, up 16%, according to its results release. Fintechbits checked Evertec’s 4 August results, filed with the SEC, and found that the previous adjusted EPS growth expectation was 8.8% to 11.7%, not the 8.8% to 13.8% the November release cites; against the filed figure, the new $4.00 to $4.08 range is still a raise. Evertec Q3 2026 also lifted revenue guidance to $1,088 million to $1,096 million.
What Evertec Q3 2026 Showed
In Evertec Q3 2026, revenue grew 24%, or about 21% in constant currency, faster than the 20% reported for the second quarter, when revenue was $274.8 million. GAAP net income attributable to shareholders was $29.9 million, or $0.49 per diluted share. Evertec returned $18.4 million through buybacks and dividends and completed the acquisition of BBChain, which it describes as expanding its blockchain, tokenization and digital asset technology.
The new full-year outlook is revenue of $1,088 million to $1,096 million, growth of about 16.7% to 17.6%, and adjusted EPS of $4.00 to $4.08, growth of about 10.5% to 12.7%. The company now expects an adjusted EBITDA margin of about 39.5% and capital expenditure of about $95 million.
The Range That Moved
In August, Evertec guided revenue of $1,085 million to $1,095 million and adjusted EPS of $3.94 to $4.04, which it described as growth of 8.8% to 11.7%. The November release says the new EPS range is “an increase from our previous expectation of 8.8% to 13.8%”. The top of that quoted previous range is higher than the top of the new one, which would make the raise look like a narrowing. Using the filed August numbers, the midpoint moves from $3.99 to $4.04, a real increase of about 1%.
The likeliest explanation is a typing error in the Evertec Q3 2026 release. It still matters, because guidance language is what investors and models use to judge whether a company is raising or trimming.

Why Evertec Q3 2026 Is Better Than the Release Makes It Look
On the filed numbers, Evertec Q3 2026 raised both ends of its revenue and EPS guidance, kept margins near 40% and grew 21% in constant currency. That is a solid quarter for a processor whose biggest single client relationship, with Popular in Puerto Rico, took a 10% price discount from the fourth quarter of 2025, as the August filing notes. Latin America, built through acquisitions, is now doing most of the growing. The August filing also listed new agreements with Transbank in Chile and Clip in Mexico, and costs from a cybersecurity incident response that hit second-quarter GAAP profit. GAAP EPS recovered to $0.49 in the third quarter from $0.09 in the second.
The BBChain purchase is a small bet on tokenization infrastructure. Fintechbits has looked at where asset tokenisation creates value and where it is hype, and the Evertec release does not say what BBChain earns or what Evertec paid, so investors should treat it as an option rather than a growth driver. The State of Fintech Q3 2026 report shows acquisitions doing more of the work in fintech than venture rounds, and Evertec fits that pattern.
