Bilt, the rent and neighbourhood rewards platform, announced the Bilt LAVA acquisition on 2 November 2026 in a transaction valued at $300 million, according to its release. LAVA’s own website, checked by Fintechbits, advertises 200+ ready-to-use integrations in one section and 250+ real-time integration partners in another, while Bilt’s release credits LAVA with more than 300 technology adapters (lava.ai).
What the Bilt LAVA Acquisition Buys
LAVA sells loyalty, membership, stored-value and real-time offer software to teams including the Detroit Lions, Denver Nuggets, Carolina Hurricanes and LAFC. Its founder and chairman, Vivek Ranadivé, also owns the Sacramento Kings. The release says LAVA’s adapters span point-of-sale, identity, loyalty, ticketing and payments systems, so teams can connect what they already run instead of replacing it.
Bilt plans to combine LAVA’s Realtime AI engagement technology with its own AI agents to coordinate offers across merchants. The capabilities will be integrated “over time”, and the release gives no timetable. “The stadium may be where the game happens, but the neighborhood is where fandom lives,” said Ankur Jain, Bilt’s founder and chief executive.
For a rewards business, the logic is distribution: stadiums are dense, high-spend venues with point-of-sale systems already connected to LAVA. Earlier Fintechbits coverage of Atomic and Odynn’s travel rewards deal showed how loyalty is becoming infrastructure that financial firms buy rather than build.

Why the Bilt LAVA Acquisition Is a Payments Bet
Bilt makes money when members pay rent, spend on its card and redeem points with partners. LAVA brings stored-value and point-of-sale connections inside venues where fans spend heavily on tickets, food and merchandise. If Bilt can route that spend through its own rewards and card, the Bilt LAVA acquisition becomes a payments play, not a sports sponsorship.
The integration count matters for that reason. Every adapter is a system Bilt can reach without new engineering, so the gap between LAVA’s own figures and the release’s “more than 300” is worth settling before anyone values the platform on it. LAVA’s site also still markets NFT tickets and Web3 experiences, which says something about how far its product has moved. For scale, the fintech deals Fintechbits tracked in October 2026 were led by LSEG’s $3.5 billion purchase of Octus.

The first Bilt rewards offer redeemable inside a LAVA stadium will show whether the Bilt LAVA acquisition changes how fans pay. Bilt says it will share more about its neighbourhood commerce plans, and a launch at one of the named franchises would be the clearest proof.
