TradeStation Europe, the Amsterdam brokerage that began operating in June 2026 under a MiFID licence from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets, cut its options commission to $0.60 per contract and its equities commission to $0.005 per share, and launched extended-hours trading in eligible US equity options, according to the company’s announcement on 29 October 2026. Fintechbits compared the new price with Interactive Brokers Ireland, whose pricing page lists US options at $0.15 to $0.65 per contract, so TradeStation Europe’s flat $0.60 sits near the top of that range. Clients can trade options from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET.
Built on a Cboe change
The extended hours follow Cboe’s move to trade options on 24 stocks and five ETFs outside the regular US session. President Peter Comstock said TradeStation moved quickly “once Cboe made it available”. European access to US markets runs through brokerage infrastructure, which Fintechbits explained here. Interactive Brokers, a rival for European traders, launched autonomous trading features in October.
