Visa Launches Fifth Cohort of Africa Fintech Accelerator
Visa has officially opened applications for the fifth cohort of its Africa Fintech Accelerator program. This initiative is a high-impact, three-month program designed to support early-stage fintech startups across the continent.

Eligible companies are required to be in the seed to Series A stage, with a minimum viable product (MVP) and demonstrated market traction. The application process involves two key rounds: an initial screening to evaluate alignment and traction, followed by virtual interviews for preselected candidates.

The program runs for more than 12 weeks and adopts a hybrid format. It begins with an integration week, followed by 10 weeks of focused virtual sessions, a dedicated investor week, and an in-person Demo Day. Participants will also gain access to products and incentives from over 100 technology providers, valued at more than $200,000.
